some of these apps actually mining... just not crypto. mining your data and sending it to "totally legit business partners"

Mobile mining scams use same formula since 2021:

1. Promise "easy mining"
2. Show fake progress
3. Require minimum balance to withdraw
4. Charge "fees"
5. Ghost support when you try withdraw

Worth noting - Feb 2025 alone: 47 fake mining apps taken down from Play Store. Stay safe folks
